I lie forsaken on the border
between sanity and madness
darkness swirls around my head
I feel content and safe
is it not strange?
Others chase the last drop of light
I revel in shadows
my broken wings blacken
dark as ink my soul flows
towards the age old deities
grasping their lost faiths
turning from reality
runes etched into my core
I loose myself inside my mid
but I finally feel whole

und das hier in Religion:
life sharpens its claws
waiting to tear me apart
I ready my body, mind and soul
to stand against the waves
crashing against my bones
grinding my very core to dust
I grasp my sword of thoughts
memories pass before my eyes
the beast flashes its horrid fangs
with acid pouring from its tongue
smoldering mist arises
from the bloodied earth under my feet
my lungs are ripped
ruby pearls roll from my slashed veins
I fall slowly forward
the monster roars
it has won
